Lower Material Costs: The MP Rotator® lowers installation costs by reducing total material costs and overall installation labor. Material costs are reduced because the lower flow rates of MP Rotators provide greater flexibility to the irrigation system designer. For example, the MP2000 delivers 1/3 the flow of a 15’ (4.6m) spray — making it possible to reduce valve sizes, run more heads per zone, or reduce the total number of zones required. Because the MP Rotator installs onto any popular spray head body, including 6" (15 cm) and 12" (30 cm) models with built-in “check valves”, additional cost-savings are realized when compared to expensive high-pop rotors.
Lower Labor Costs: The MP Rotator saves labor in several ways. There is no nozzle tree to deal with so the labor needed to change nozzles is eliminated. This is because the flow of the MP Rotator changes automatically as the arc is changed. MP Rotators can be adjusted without the use of tools and both the left and right edges are clearly visible, simultaneously, during operation. Add built-in ratcheting for left-and-right-edge fine-tuning, and it becomes clear that MP Rotators can be adjusted much faster than conventional rotors. The end result is that the flow rates in the field match the flow rates specified on the design plans with less labor.
